Method Resourcing have continued their partnership with a growing SaaS company in the financial sector, who are looking for an IT Technician to join their Service Desk team. This role is based fully on-site in their North Bristol office, and is paying between £26,000 - £28,000.
Role Overview:
As a 1st Line Support IT Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for their internal staff regarding IT-related issues. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, customer service, and exposure to various aspects of IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing hands-on support by building and distributing laptops, setting up workstations for new employees, and addressing incidental issues for staff members.
- Troubleshooting technical problems and finding effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery.
- Gaining exposure to service-side operations and customer infrastructure, enhancing your understanding of IT systems and processes.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Experience in an IT help desk environment is beneficial but not required.
- Educational background in IT or related field preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and end-users.
