Data Manager | BigQuery | Data Governance | ETL | SQL | 3-4 Month Contract | £600-£650 per day | Outside IR35 | Manchester
We're working with a well known client based in Manchester looking for a Data Manager to support their data function on an initial 3-4 month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving a BigQuery environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning and maintaining the BigQuery platform
- Managing data pipelines and resolving issues
- Supporting data governance and data quality initiatives
- Enhancing data models and warehouse structures
- Working closely with analysts and engineers on ad hoc requirements
What they're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery
- Experience in a Data Manager, Data Lead or Lead Data Engineer capacity
- Strong understanding of data governance, modelling and warehousing
- Experience managing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Available to start in the coming weeks
Contract:
- Outside IR35
- 3-4 month contract
- Hybrid Manchester - 2 days per week
- £600-£650 per day
