Permanent - Cambridge / £35k-£42k

Method resourcing are engaged by an award winning SaaS business in Cambridge, who are continuing to see excellent growth within the business. The company have recently been awarded a "disruptive technology" title by Microsoft and have no plans on slowing down.

As the platform support engineer you will be responsible for customer success by addressing and solving inbound support cases. You will be also involved in transition activities for the on boarding of new customers in terms of Support readiness such as assessing requirements, documentation, configuration information.

You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of technology and working within an Azure environment and providing that 1st/2nd line support to their customers. The business are also supporting SQL, so experience in this area would be hugely advantageous.

The successful Platform Support Engineer will have the following:

  • Commercial experience using Azure
  • Brilliant communication skills
  • Good experience around SaaS products
  • Experience supporting external users
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to be organized and prioritize your workload
  • An active desire to increase exposure to new technologies and a passion for self-learning
  • Commercial experience of operating in a Technical Support role providing 1st and 2nd line support

The role will be remote initially and then going in part time later in the year (1 or 2 days a week). No sponsorship available.
